Cheers for CHEER

Dear Mr. Menkes,

Thank you for donating the audio cassette THE SPY CLUB OF AMERICA to our pediatric depart- ment. We immediately put it to the test of a 6 year old girl and a 10 year old boy who were hospitalized here. This is the consensus: It was funny most of the time, it was relaxing to listen to, it was entertaining, it wasn't too long (or too short) in length, and they both agreed that other kids would like to listen to it. You may interested to know that while the 10 year old boy was listening to the story he was so engrossed he worked a loose tooth right out!

Again, thank you for the gift of the audio cassette tape. I'm certain it will bring pleasure to many hospitalized children.

Sincerely,
Anne Glass RN

Dear Mr. Menkes,

On behalf of the children and families at North Shore University Hospital the Child Life and Rainbow School Program would like to thank you for your donation of music and story tapes As we know the hospital can be an unfamiliar place and it can be comforting to a child to be able to listen to a tape and relax Whether he/she is going on a far off journey or just listening to soothing tune music is universal.

Once again thank you fox caring and tanking of the families It is with community support like yours that families can feel a connection to home.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy summer.

Sincerely,
Sharon Granville CCLS, CTRS

Dear Mr. Menkes:

When you tape arrived, we had four little girls staying here. They had a club called the "5-6-7-8" club, representing their ages.

When the tape came I offered it to them and immediately they changed the name of their club to the "Spy Club of America".

Thanks very much for making their day and for you kind donation. We applaud your efforts on behalf of Ronald McDonald Houses around the country.

Sincerely,
Larry Parratt
Resident Manager
